Solids

Even the kids are part of the baby food making process
So little Ham, who is the chunkiest of al my kids, has had a heck of a time starting solids.  It's not fair in my opinion since I LOVE prepping and planning out homemade baby foods.  I had rice and oatmail ready to be combinged with a multutude of random fruits and veggies.  When the first couple of meals were no more than two bites I tried store bought (grumbling I might add).  When that didn't work I felt a little better that it wasn't my food.

I finally found the KidSme feeder which does seem to work at times.  It was a huge hit at first but even that seems to have tapered.  I can say we have now done Avocado, Rice, Oatmeal and Sweet Potato.  Banana was a hit tastewise but Ham's reflux was pretty severe that night so we put it on hold for a few days.  Of course it may have been the blackberry he found on the ground.  Ironically that kid puts EVERYTHING in his mouth, just not the spoon attached to my hand.
